initial thoughts

First a few words of introduction. I am an itinerant wanderer of the internet zones, and an occasional poet. A lot of times I get into trouble for my critique or readings of the poems other people write, because I believe that there is a place for both negative and positive critique. So fair warning: if you post poems here, I will consider them fair game for me to incorporate into my ongoing work in progress as a literary critic -- the articles I write for Mipo. My project as a critic has increasingly turned to studying and understanding the parameters of the internet as a new zone for poetry. Simply stated, 30 years ago there was no net. So, a change in media likely effects what is said. (Old idea from McLuhan (yes, ok, he was a bit of a flake)). So. . . . stay tuned, and remember, if you don't like what I say about your work or how I use it in my reviews, then POST SOMEWHERE ELSE DUDE !! ! -- your friend in the art, jack anders. (married to the poetess jenni, they have a dog named baby).

I sincerely hope that honesty is something we should expect in replies here, positive or negative. I'm sick to death of fluff commentary and head patting - more things to study in the "change of things said since the internet was invented."
