How stable the night SEEMS to be. Ah, I like that alot. I don't know that I'd ever thought of the night as stable or instable. What I've always liked about your poetry, Jill--aside from its extreme compression that seems almost like a modern take on the haiku--is how it makes me see things, the world, the night, whatever subject or object the poem is focusing upon in a new way.The last couplet is the kind of line that makes me wish I'd written it. It's a keeper, that line. By that, I mean, I'll keep it inside me for a long, long time.As always, it's good to read you.
Jill you have so many stand out poems its hard to find one I don't like even a little bit.
thanks both of you. i'm glad this does something for you.
